A counselor with CareNet since 1989, Dr. Link is a
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed
Professional Counselor. She provides counseling to
adults, couples, families and groups and specializes in the
treatment of anxiety and depression and family issues,
trauma and grief and vocational testing. Certified by the
American Group Psychotherapy Association, she leads
three therapy Groups. Additionally, she has earned the
Duke NonProfit Management Certification and is a Fellow
in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.

Rev. Joseph B. Alexander is a Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist (L-MFT) who joined the CareNet Staff in
2009. He comes to the CareNet staff after serving as the
Director of Pastoral Care Services at Northern Hospital
since 2003. He has also served as chaplain in a nursing
home setting from 1995-1999. Rev. Alexander provides
counseling to individuals (adults as well as older children
and adolescents), couples, and families for grief issues,
depression, anxiety, vocational and relational issues as
well as most forms of personal, marital, and family
problems. Joseph has also been theologically trained
and can explore spiritual issues and crises as a pastoral
counselor. Joseph has particular interest in working
with couples and working with grief issues with
individuals and groups. Rev. Alexander holds the
following degrees: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family
Therapy from Appalachian State University 2002; Master
of Divinity (MDiv.) in Pastoral Care and Counseling from
Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1993; and
received Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Human
Services) from Wingate University, 1990. Joseph was
licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2007.

Amy Bigbee began her residency with CareNet in
October of 2009 and is in the process of becoming a
Licensed Professional Counselor. Amy has earned a
Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of
Science in Community Counseling from Baylor University.
She has her Master of Divinity from Truett Seminary. In
August of 2008, she completed her PhD in Counseling and
Counselor Education from the University of North
Carolina at Greensboro. Recently she completed a year
of Clinical Pastoral Education at Wake Forest University
Baptist Medical Center. Amy enjoys working with
children and adults concerning depression, anxiety,
grief, and behavioral issues. Amy is particularly interested
in working with women’s issues.
